I’ve been trying to take a lot of photos when I’m at gigs lately; I think I’m starting to build up quite a collection. A lot of the gigs are pretty low key, taking place in smaller venues. But I’ve got a few good images from much bigger gigs such as Iggy Pop when he peformed in Leeds during the summer. I’ve uploaded a fair few of them on to Flickr, so feel free to have a look.

Rave on Air 2007

After a long few weeks, Rave on Air 2007 is finally over. The whole thing was amazing and will definately be something I do next year. With any luck I’ll be able to get a lot more involved then too. It was the first time I took part in the event, so I discovered a lot about it and had great fun. I made two websites for the event, Citizen Journalism and Creepy Crawlyz. The Creepy Crawlyz site didn’t get much presentation which was unfortunate, but Citizen Journalism seemed to be very popular due to the hard work of everyone on the team.

The Creepy Crawlyz site had an interacive flash garden (which the link above will take you to) which I was very pleased with. However I was incredibly impressed with the way we ran Citizen Journalism using a team of journalists and editors consistanty suplying me with new posts to go onto the website. Despite being very hectic, it was a really fun day

Also, with the arrival of the virtual garden to the website I’ve added a new Flash section in the portfolio.

I know the old site only lasted for a few days. But that wasn’t very good. This is the new shiny site. Galleries will be posted over the next few days, and there’s a few more bits still to be made. However it’s 4:30 in the morning and I’d like to go to bed. Good night!

I’m debating if I should use a Flash gallery (like the Photoshop one) or if I should have a PHP driven one. It’d be easier to update a PHP one, and would fit in with the design of the site, so I’m really tempted to go with that. Hmmm…
