So Rave on Air 2008 is over. On the one hand I’m pleased; this project has been pretty tough and there’s been a lot of ups and downs. But then I guess that’s to be expected of any project, especially something that you’ve never done before. On the other hand it was great fun and a brilliant learning experience. It was something we’ve never done before, and it presented a great challenge. It’s opened my eyes to a lot of future possibilities and careers; it never hurts to branch out a little.
All in all I think things went well. As I said, there were moments when I doubted we were going to be able to pull this off, and a lot of things seemed to be working against us. Also I don’t think the project was realised to it’s full potential. But we learnt a lot from doing it and have a better idea of how to go about things next time. Making installations, and large projects it’s something I’m hoping to do a lot more of in the future, I think it’s time to slowly move away from some of the screen based work I’ve done in the past.
As always, more photos can be viewed at my Flickr page.
