I’ve been sketching and drawing a lot recently; I’m not really sure why, but the past few weeks have had me moving away from playing in Photoshop as much as I was, and spending my time doodling. I was having a look through my old portfolio (one of those massive A2 folders) and realised I don’t draw anywhere near as much as I used to. I guess this is an attempt to remedy that. I just sketched this up and was pretty pleased with the results, so I thought I’d post it here.

I found this really nice site a couple of days ago through BittBox; It’s a blog style website that provides free high-res textures. All of the textures are completely free and are available for personal and commercial works as well as all being very high quality. So head over to LostAndTaken.com and have a look.

Today I decided it was a nice day to head out and take some photos. I’ve taken a lot of photos at gigs recently, but not so much of things like landscapes and wildlife. The plan was to have a wander around Deptford and get some photos there, but I also wanted to stop by Greenwich; so as it happened I ended up in Greenwich Park, and ended up spending a couple of hours there and forgot all about going to Deptford.

Inspired by Craig I had a go at taking some High Dynamic Range (HDR) shots while I was there. The results seem pretty good, not amazing, but for a first try I’m pleased.

I’m also in the process of doing some massive Flickr uploads. Over the past couple of months I haven’t had a chance to go through a lot of the photos I’ve taken. I’ve just dumped them on to the computer from the camera and left it at that. Last night (and today) I’ve uploaded about 150 photos, and there’s still probably another 200-300 to go.
