Recently the Spore Creature Creator was released. I’ve been playing around with the trial version and you can come up with some pretty cool - albeit weird looking - creatures.

FireDragon Quandry Duckatron Spiredingus Quadrorex

Since this is only a trial version, you don’t have access to all of the different items there are to make up your creature. But there is a pretty decent selection to give it a go. I really can’t wait for the game to come out!

Since I just tidied up my desk somewhat, I decided that I’d add it to the Bittbox workspace group on Flickr. And once I had done that, I couldn’t really see a reason not to upload the photos here. So here they are:

You can see a few more of them here.

Portfolio Online

I’ve just finished the portfolio page. Some stuff is relatively new, some of it’s a little older. I’ve got a few more websites to add, but I’ll do that at a later date. But as it stands, the Graphic section, Web Design section and the Flash section are all uploaded and updated.

I’m planning on adding a couple of more sections soon too. Namely a photography section and a section for all of the work I do (or have done) at Ravensbourne. But I’ll need to gather all of the stuff together and get that organised before hand.

Behind The Times

I’m obsessivly listening to the Jos? González album, ‘In Our Nature’. I was a little unsure about it at first. But the more I’ve been listening to it, the more I’ve enjoyed it. It’s a kind of the same, yet a little different than his previous album, Veneer; and at first I think that might have been what I disliked. But the more I listen to it, the more great it gets. And his cover version of Teardrop by Massive Attack is amazing. He’s a very underrated artist in the UK and you should definatly check him out.

Those few additions to the site (i.e. the portfolio and the minor layout upgrades) are on their way. I’m currently working on another site at the moment though (which takes priority since it pays the rent) so I’m being kept busy with that at the moment.
