I found this whilst browsing around Design You Trust just now. I love it.
Lonely Planet
// 7 June, 2008
It hasn’t all been about working on Rave on Air these past few weeks. I just recently completed a Flash website for a friend - who studies broadcasting - about Lonely Planet. The footage was filmed in Morocco, and then uploaded so that I could turn it into a website. Due to the style of the website, I decided that a Flash based site would work best.
From what I hear the reception from Lonely Planet was very good. However someone on their team has already come up with a similar idea already. Perhaps if we had been a year earlier things would have turned out differently. I’m not sure if I can upload the final piece however as Lonely Planet only permitted use of their branding as a portfolio piece, so I don’t know if I’m allowed to put it on the internet. However it will be a good offline piece.
Portfolio Online
// 19 March, 2008
I’ve just finished the portfolio page. Some stuff is relatively new, some of it’s a little older. I’ve got a few more websites to add, but I’ll do that at a later date. But as it stands, the Graphic section, Web Design section and the Flash section are all uploaded and updated.
I’m planning on adding a couple of more sections soon too. Namely a photography section and a section for all of the work I do (or have done) at Ravensbourne. But I’ll need to gather all of the stuff together and get that organised before hand.
Image Galleries
// 13 May, 2007
I’m debating if I should use a Flash gallery (like the Photoshop one) or if I should have a PHP driven one. It’d be easier to update a PHP one, and would fit in with the design of the site, so I’m really tempted to go with that. Hmmm…
